About
Stu Mac (Stuart MacMillan) is a songwriter/producer and self taught piano, guitar and drum programmer, who has extensive experience of musical production and arrangement. He owns an SSL recording studio in Norwich, UK and is the artist ‘Musical Box’.
Musical Box is strongly influenced by the music of the 60s, 70s and 80s.
A wealth of experience gained as a professional Sound Engineer in the 80s and 90s working extensively in major recording studios in London and the Midlands. The Sound Engineer for 7 songs on Grammy Nominated album ‘Victims’ by Steel Pulse. Mixed album ‘Saturday Night, Sunday Morning’ by the Stranglers. Mix Engineer on live recorded concerts for: Gary Numan, Squeeze, Happy Mondays & ASIA and assistant engineering sessions with Stevie Wonder and Erasure
